Just back from one week Pilates retreat in Turkey and I feel like a new woman! Much more toned in stomach, bottom and legs and generally stronger and fitter - all in one week! I arrived feeling achy, unfit and tired and left a week later pain free, slimmer and raring to go - amazing! Rosa's sessions are challenging, imaginative and never boring - 2 hours just fly by! Rosa somehow manages to get the best out of everyone in the class and is attentive and caring, ensuring everyone achieves their individual fitness goals. Everyone at the retreat is so friendly and accommodation and food were both lovely - thanks to Gul (owner) and lovely Fikret for my cups of tea! I will definitely be back!

I have recently returned from the retreat in Koycegiz. It was a fantastic week and I felt incrediby energised at the end of it. Rosa is an excellent Pilates teacher and tailored the exercises for our different needs – i.e. as I have some back and flexibility problems. She is a lovely and very caring person and is very interested in each individual and exactly what they are hoping to achieve. I had arrived with a very stiff back but felt much better by the end of the week after our 2 hour Pilates sessions on the roof terrace and also lost some inches round my middle. Swimming in the pool every morning before Pilates also helped I believe! We all looked forward to Gul’s scrumptious breakfasts which were amazing. I would heartily recommend this retreat – if you love Pilates, sunshine and a quiet, relaxing time then I am sure it would be perfect for you. So thank you to Rosa for being a very inspiring teacher and also to Gul for her wonderful hospitality (and food) during our stay." Christine Darby
"Rosa is an amazing, motivating expert and incredibly patient. Ever since working with her my back has stopped hurting and I can wear 5 inch heels with impunity! Even after the most stressful day, one hour with Rosa and I am relaxed and calm again. I Recommend her highly." Susanna Kempe CEO
"We attended the Pilates retreat in Turkey with Rosa from the 11th-18th September 2010 and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Roanna has been attending Rosa's classes for some time whereas İ am more of a Pilates beginner, but Rosa was excellent at providing options for us both to work at levels we were comfortable with, and was also very encouraging when we were making progress. The sessions were always varied, incorporating flowing sequences, focused moves, stretching and relaxation. The terrace was also a lovely location for our Pilates session, it was cool and tranquil in the mornings and we even got to see some of the local wildlife in the form of a little owl who watched over us most mornings! The retreat has given us a new enthusiasm for Pilates, and has really motivated us to continue with all we have learned over the course of the week."
The location of the retreat, the Rose Garden Hotel in Koycegiz, was absolutely ideal – the town is set beside a beautiful lake and beneath imposing hills, and makes a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of other holiday resorts. The hotel itself is run by Gul, who is really friendly and always made us feel very welcome. The hotel is intimate, with only 16 spacious and comfortable rooms, and a sunny pool and terrace area. The daily brunch was nothing short of amazing – we ate fresh bread with homemade jam, fruit with homemade yogurt and honey, and drank Turkish tea. Gul also kindly allowed us to sample her fantastic cooking at dinnertime, which was better than the food we had in the local restaurants! On the subject of food, we also discovered an amazing local ice cream shop, which we naughtily visited most days… Other local delicacies include baklava and pastries, both sweet and savoury, from the patisserie near the lake front.
A must-do on any visit to Turkey is a Turkish bath – not only was this functional in that it rids you of dead skin in a way most exfoliators could only dream of, but it was also an entertaining cultural experience… This, along with a meal at the Botanik restaurant next door to the Turkish Bath, made for one of our best evenings of the holiday! Thank you Rosa!"
"Sun, sea, sand and the opportunity to gain some muscle tone - who could ask for more!
I have just returned from the Pilates Retreat in Turkey. Not only was the venue quiet and beautiful - with first class service but I have lost 2 inches off my waist and 1.5 inches off my hips through the dedicated 2 hour daily Pilates session. I would highly recommend anyone to go - I know that I will be booking again for next year!" Alison M HR Business Partner
"I have attended two Pilates retreats run by Rosa in Turkey. We had excellent instruction undertaking a routine which was built upon throughout the week of each retreat. New exercises were explained and demonstrated clearly. The variety of the exercises gave us new options for our routines currently done at home. Our 2 hours instruction each day flew by. We really noticed the results of our hard work feeling more toned and stronger day by day. Rosa has found the most stunning location for these retreats and the hotel is amazing, you have not lived unless you have eaten breakfast at Gul's Rose Apart Hotel!
Save me a space for next year!" Jo P Head of Research Nursing Dept.
